  BTM’s 3rd Annual "Meet Us in Maine" Summer Tour Itinerary (August 1–4, 2025)

  Day 1: Friday, August 1, 2025
  

  Arrival & Check-In: Guests arrive at their hotel in Portland, Maine. Relax, refresh, and prepare for an engaging start to the tour.
  BTM Black History Walking Tour (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Led by Black Mainers with nine generations of roots in Maine, this intimate walking tour highlights Maine’s Black history, including stories of the Underground Railroad and the Black community's contributions to the state’s heritage.
  
  

  Meet & Greet & Beer Tour at Allagash Brewing Company (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM):Enjoy a warm welcome with live jazz music, local craft beer tastings, and an exclusive brewery tour.Engage with fellow guests during a lively social hour featuring live music, dancing, and a delicious full dinner.

  
  Day 2: Saturday, August 2, 2025
  
  Private Group Breakfast Included (8:00 AM – 9:30 AM):Kick off the day with a hearty breakfast, mingling with fellow travelers while preparing for a full day of Maine adventures.
  Morning Hike to Marginal Way (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM): Explore the stunning coastal cliffs and scenic beauty of Marginal Way in Ogunquit. This peaceful walk offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and serene seaside charm.
  Lunch in Perkins Cove Included (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM): Enjoy a delightful lunch in the quaint fishing village of Perkins Cove. Savor fresh seafood and other local dishes while surrounded by coastal charm.
  Visit to the Joan White Collection at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art (3:00 PM – 3:30 PM):Immerse yourself in art and history at this renowned museum, featuring the works of Joan White and other celebrated artists.

  Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Derby-Style “Garden Party” (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM): Depart 2:30PM for Boothbay to experience the breathtaking Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
